DISZNÓKŐ TOKAJI ASZÚ 6 PUTTONYOS
The Disznókő personality of the vintage
“All in all 1995 was a very smooth vintage, like a sailboat just moving along with the winds, like I did when I first started at Disznókő. The vintage brought us harmonious, creamy wines with a hint of fresh mint, all in perfect balance and with a long finish. The structure of the wine suggests a very long ageing potential.”
The vintage conditions at Disznókő and the influence on the wines
“The warm, dry summer brought early ripening. The cooler, rainier weather then enabled the Botrytis to settle, dried by a sunny October with warm winds that dried and concentrated the berries. 1995 was the year I started at Disznókő. Everything was impressive, and I indulged in this new experience. Swept along with the rich creaminess the aszú berries promised.”
