Disznókő Tokaji Cocktail Competition

On Thursday 27th April, the 2nd Disznókő Tokaji Cocktail Competition will be held in the Buddha-bar Budapest.

Imagine Tokaji as a cocktail ingredient! Disznókő gives adventurous mixers the chance to explore new tastes in the competition.

Competitors compete in two rounds. The first round was to create a cocktail at home, which had to contain at least 50 ml of Disznókő Tokaji Late Harvest 2015. A photo of the drink was sent in together with the recipe.
These pictures will be shared on our Facebook page for our followers to vote for the winner.
The competition organisers will then select 10 of the cocktails and invite their creators to the semi-final, where they will build their cocktails in front of the judges.
An expert panel will taste and evaluate the drinks. The five highest scoring competitors will be invited to the final where they will be given the challenge of building another cocktail with a mysterious Disznókő wine – that is a surprise for them. The panel of judges – including Jennifer Le Nechet, the first woman winner of Diageo World Class competition – will score according to international standards, before giving the final results.
The winner will be offered a professional trip to the Bordeaux estates of AXA Millésimes, owner of Disznókő.
