You can compare the 2011 wines to driving a convertible along country lanes in the summer sun: perfect power and supremely well-made. They have exceptional precision and finesse, bursting with fresh but supple acidity.


The 2011 vintage was hot and dry.  The ripening came very early but botrytisation was slow and limited due to a lack of humidity. The quality of the aszú berries was exceptional: great concentration from extreme passerillage, or shrivelling. This dryness meant we made the lowest proportion of Eszencia ever for the estate! We have been delighted with the unexpected freshness from a very hot vintage. Bright, these aromatic wines are very noble but easy drinking. Beautiful.
