All in all 1995 was a very smooth vintage, like a sailboat just moving along with the winds, like I did when I first started at Disznókő. The vintage brought us harmonious, creamy wines with a hint of fresh mint, all in perfect balance and with a long finish. The structure of the wine suggests a very long ageing potential.

The warm, dry summer brought early ripening. The cooler, rainier weather then enabled the Botrytis to settle, dried by a sunny October with warm winds that dried and concentrated the berries. 1995 was the year I started at Disznókő. Everything was impressive, and I indulged in this new experience. Swept along with the rich creaminess the aszú berries promised.
